A private pool is common in luxury villas. A heated private pool is more specific and more useful, especially for shoulder-season stays, evening swims and families travelling with children or older guests.
Why pool heating changes the value calculation
In July and August, Zakynthos heat often makes pool heating less decisive. In May, early June, late September and October, heating can make the difference between a pool that looks good in photos and a pool that guests actually use throughout the day.
For a family villa, this has direct value. Children use the pool more, adults can swim later, and the villa becomes less dependent on beach conditions, wind and daily excursions. When comparing nightly rates, heated-pool inclusion should be considered alongside cleaning, bathrooms, sea access and booking fees.
